Struggling? Therapy. Lost? Church. Behind? School. Addicted? Treatment. Stuck? Find a coach, a program, a class, an expert. I am not against these rooms. I have used them. I believe in them. Some problems need professionals. Some need consequences. Some need community. But somewhere along the way, I think we started believing that change only counts when someone else guides it. That troubles me.
You are not chasing one enormous revelation. You are learning how your body carries fear, pressure, grief, anger, uncertainty, and hope. You move. You notice. You let the mind respond to what the movement changes. Some walks will help. Some will not.
Some readers will recognize themselves here. Others will recognize the man beside them. Do not judge his emotional health by whether he feels deeply. Watch what he does when discomfort arrives.
